"Gryffindor is the house which most values the virtues of courage, bravery, and determination."

Of the four houses, I relate most to Gryffindor and Ravenclaw. I'm determined and brave like Gryffindors and value learning and wittiness like Ravenclaws. I've been sorted into Ravenclaw but identify as a Gryffindor because I believe Gryffindor is the house of choice.

Like Hermione Granger, a fellow Gryffindor who would have done well in Ravenclaw, I'm a bookworm who seeks knowledge every chance I get. I enjoy researching topics I know nothing about and learning as much as possible about them. My desire to never stop learning has allowed me to challenge myself and chase after my dreams. 

Harry Potter is more than a book series for me. Harry Potter taught me to never let my fears get the best of me. Hermione Granger taught me that I can be a strong, intelligent woman who doesn't need anyone to define her. Ron Weasley taught me what it means to be a fantastic friend. The series taught me the meaning of friendship and bravery and showed me that I'm the only one who can determine my destiny.
