A Potterhead!

Of the four houses, I relate most to Gryffindor and Ravenclaw. I'm determined and brave like Gryffindors and value learning and wittiness like Ravenclaws. I've been sorted into Ravenclaw but identify as a Gryffindor because I believe Gryffindor is the house of choice.
Like Hermione Granger, a fellow Gryffindor who would have done well in Ravenclaw, I'm a bookworm who seeks knowledge every chance I get. I enjoy researching topics I know nothing about and learning as much as possible about them. My desire to never stop learning has allowed me to challenge myself and chase after my dreams.
Harry Potter is more than a book series for me. Harry Potter taught me to never let my fears get the best of me. Hermione Granger taught me that I can be a strong, intelligent woman who doesn't need anyone to define her. Ron Weasley taught me what it means to be a fantastic friend. The series taught me the meaning of friendship and bravery and showed me that I'm the only one who can determine my destiny.

Here are six things most people don't know about me:
1. I would love to go cage diving with Great White sharks one day.
2. I have an irrational fear of bees. Seeing a picture of them makes me extremely anxious.
3. I love snakes. My favorite snake is the black mamba which has both neurotoxin and cardiotoxin present in its venom.
4. If I didn't study journalism, I would have majored in Chemistry or Marine Biology.
5. When I was younger, I used to frequently dream about having the ability to talk to marine life.
6. I'm obsessed with astronomy and have a composition notebook filled with random astronomy facts.
